Effortless and safe installation of overhead fibre cables!

The Mills PSP Pole Tensioner is specifically designed for the installation of overhead fibre drop cables. It works seamlessly with the Pulley Drop 4 and Pulley Drop Wire 6, providing consistent tension for 5, 6, and 7mm cable drops, whether they’re installed pole-to-pole or to a premise.

Featuring a lightweight aluminium frame and two tensionable pulleys, the Pole Tensioner can be easily secured to the pole with a ratcheting webbing strap, ideally positioned 1 metre above the pole's base. The fibre drop can be fed from an A-Frame (S13-1200), or preferably from an X-Board or Mills Drum-Mate (S00-9770) with the Mills Top Hat attachment (S13-0304).

The cable is fed through the pole tensioner, up to the ring head via a Pulley Drop Wire 4 (S83-2685), and then pulled overhead to the next pole or premise with the Pulley Drop Wire 6 (S83-2686). This setup ensures constant cable tension, enabling a smooth, one-person installation process.
