If fitting the Cool Tip to a SuperFire 2, the correct jet provided must be fitted also so the torch can function correctly.

The Cool Tip also is known as the Swirl Tip can be used with the QuickFire Torch and SuperFire 2 Soldering Blow Torch. On a busy day when using a blow torch for long periods of time and even when the torch is in shorter more occasional use, the tip can get very hot very quickly. In a situation where the torch is knocked over, the hot tip could come into contact with something, especially in a domestic property which could burn and cause damage to carpet or furnishings. The Cool Tip is designed to stay completely cool, even when on maximum flame, making a safer working environment.
