BWC47 Barrel Clamp Multi Strand Bare Wire 4.7mm

For the simple and fast dead-ending of figure-8 cables with steel messengers, comprising a conical body, a pair of wedges, a lanyard and a stainless steel bail.

The clamp body and collar is 104 mm by 55 mm. A bail wire is fitted with two ferrules and an insulated UV resistant thermoplastic thimble.

The thimble has a minimum insulating value of 11kV. The bail wire is attached to the collar and held by the two ferrules.

Used for Full Termination of multi strand 7 x 1.6mm bare catenary wire when replacing existing terminations
