Ripley Cablematic Pocket Coax Tester

Ripley 38480 - The pocket coax tester is designed to assist in fault finding, cable identification and DC continuity testing in coaxial cables. It will also indicate if a coax cable has a DC supply present (warning max voltage 18V DC).

The tester has a two-part body. The main body has a push-on F-connector to allow fast connection and disconnection. A red LED indicates if a short circuit is present on the cable under test. An F-barrel adaptor converts the tester for testing F-type plugs. The detachable sounder can be connected to the remote end of the cable and generates a tone when DC voltage is present.
