Full description

Designed to take the outer jacked off of common wires such as Romex and SO cables, the Knipex dismantling knife features an ergonomically improved handle shape with comfortable slip guard that's insulated to 1,000 volts.

This dismantling knife's solid, fixed hook blade has two cutting blades - one on the outside and another on the inside turning point - as well as a guide show that's designed to slide along the inside conductors of the wire and prevent nicking or damaging the inner conductor.

A thumb recess and "finger hook" at the end of the handle ensure a good transmission of force when the blade is pulled. The blade is constructed from surgical-grade, air-hardened stainless steel.
