Heightec LA02T Piranha Adjustable Lanyard – Twistlock, Triple Action 2m

The PIRANHA adjustable lanyard is a compact device used for work positioning on masts, towers, pylons or other lattice structures in the telecoms, power and entertainment industries.

The PIRANHA has a gradual action and can be accurately controlled with one hand – for both taking in and paying out.

Includes 2m x 11 mm diameter UV stabilised high strength TECTRA rope complete with abrasion protection, sewn terminations and safety hook termination. Tri-act steel krab supplied for connection to harness D ring.

Sleeve protects against abrasion, sharp edges and contamination.

All heightec’s energy absorbing fall arrest lanyards have been additionally tested with 125kg, 25% above the EN standard requirement.

Use of screwlinks (certain models) helps eliminate risk of side or cross loads, and can be a semi-permanent attachment if required. Adhesive heat shrink prevents the ID label from being damaged or lost.

Replacement ropes are available and can be fitted by the user in minutes and requires only a screwdriver. User can always maintain a grip of the structure for support when adjusting. When used for positioning an additional fall protection system should be used. Meets the requirements of EN795 type B.

An additional safety back-up should always be employed when using positioning equipment. Always place equipment so as to minimise a potential fall.
