A simple, quick and low cost universal splice for splicing both singlemode and multimode fibre (250/250, 250/900 and 900/900), giving an average ‘blind’ splice loss of 0.2dB. The Mechanical Splice needs to be used in conjunction the Mechanical Splice Jig (Part Number Y70-6852 ) and requires minimum training.
