The “WHEN RED LIGHT SHOWS WAIT HERE" plate is used in conjunction with temporary traffic lights for drivers to stop in a position not to block passing traffic.

The sign is RA1 reflective ensuring they can be seen even in poor light conditions.

These signs are fully compliant with current UK regulations when deployed in accordance with the regulations set out by the DFT. You can find more information on these rules in the NRSWA Red Book which sets out street works-road practice.
