The Jonard Tools CableSaber™ and CableSaber+™ are the ultimate tools for gaining mid-span access to armoured or thick jacketed cables.

Specifications

CableSaber™ for cable 4 mm-28.6 mm (0.157”-1.125”) in diameter. (Slit and Ring)

CableSaber+™ for cable 4 mm-30.0 mm (0.157”-1.181”) in diameter, such as Corning's 1728 RocketRibbon® cable. (Slit, Ring and Spiral)

Features

Adjustable blade depth.
Precision steel blade will cut through the toughest materials, ensuring no damage to the internal fibres
Blade can be set to be longitudinal for slitting or radial for ringing
Aluminum shaft provides tremendous stability while slitting or ringing, preventing spiraling from occurring
Shaft housing acts as a handle, providing greater leverage while slitting for convenience while ringing
Thumb screw allows blade depth to be adjusted quickly by hand
