Product Details

The tester is a battery-powered device requiring non-rechargeable cells (1 PP3 type). It is equipped with controls, supporting the following functions:

An on/off switch – this switch provides a timed operating period for the tester and is a non-latching type.
An LED indicator to show that the device is powered on.
A volume control. This control adjusts the volume of the demodulated audio and the volume of the search tone.
A Band select switch
A Level meter
A sensitivity switch.
A demodulator mode switch – This control selects either peak or average detection.
A search / demodulator switch
An antenna connector.
An internal loudspeaker.
Earpiece connector is to suit an inexpensive “Walkman” type earpiece, fitted with a 3.5 stereo plug.
