The ARC device enables the suspension of figure-8 cables in Hook Aerial Cable 1 and 1A to prevent the wearing of the cable sheath on the galvanised steel hook.

The body of the Aerial Cable Relief Clamp is constructed of two halves. The halves are made of UV resistant non-conductive fibreglass reinforced thermoplastic and are secured together with two galvanised bolts, nuts and washers.
